Toronto, ON — Bonjuk made a strong impression at the 2024 VegTO Festival, held from September 21 to 22 at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. As one of North America’s largest vegan festivals, the event celebrated plant-based cuisine and culture, drawing thousands of attendees. This year’s festival also featured the Encounter Korea Pavilion, organized by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto, to showcase Korean culture and cuisine(Open Jaw)(Family Fun Canada).
Bonjuk played a key role in supporting the pavilion’s Bibimbap Event by donating all the ingredients. Bonjuk’s signature bibimbap sauce was especially popular, adding a rich flavor to the dish and winning praise from festival-goers. The event allowed Bonjuk to highlight the healthy and delicious qualities of Korean food, prepared in a vegan-friendly way.
At its booth, Bonjuk also offered its special vegan pumpkin juk, a traditional Korean porridge made entirely from pumpkin. This dish was a hit among attendees, with its smooth texture and deep flavor making it a favorite over the two-day event. Many visitors enjoyed the opportunity to try a traditional Korean dish adapted for a plant-based diet(Open Jaw).
Bonjuk’s involvement at the VegTO Festival—from supporting the Bibimbap Event to showcasing its vegan pumpkin juk—demonstrated the brand’s commitment to sharing the flavors of Korean cuisine in a way that resonates with the vegan community.
